Your whole wedding budget in one place
Type your total budget and each cost with its estimate and due date. The Budget tab adds it all up: what is planned, what each cost comes to (the actual cost when you know it, else the estimate), what you paid and what is left, by category, with a chart of where the money goes. The next payments are listed for you, overdue ones in red, with what is still to pay month by month, and the same file keeps your guest list and your checklist.
How it works
- Set it upOn Settings: your currency, the wedding date, the total budget and your two names. Rename the categories and meal options if you like.
- Add your costsOn Expenses, one row per cost with its category and the estimated cost. Scroll right for the actual cost (type it when you know it), what you paid and the due date.
- Track paymentsType what you've paid: Expenses marks costs Paid, Due soon (within 14 days) or Overdue when applicable, and flags entries that need fixing. Budget shows what is left, overdue and next.
- Guests and to-dosKeep the guest list on Guests and mark each task done with an x on Checklist.

Questions
What if a cost changes?
Type the actual cost when you know it. Until then, your estimate is used to calculate the expected cost and what is left in your budget, so the cost is not left out while you wait for the final price.
Can we both use it?
Yes. In Google Sheets, share your copy with your partner and you can both type in it.
What is Payments by month?
It adds up what is still to pay, by each cost's due date, so you see which months need the most money. It is not an instalment plan.
One invitation, different meals or answers?
Use one row per person with the same Party name: they count as one invitation. Use a different Party name for each invitation; do not reuse it for another invitation.
Do I need Microsoft Excel?
No. Google Sheets is free with a Google account; on a phone, use the free Google Sheets app. If you prefer Excel, the Excel files are included too: a blank file and an example.
How do I get my copy in Google Sheets?
Open the PDF you download and tap a button: a blank copy or an example. Then tap "Use template". A copy is saved in your own Google Drive.
Which currencies can I use?
Pick one from the list on Settings or type your own currency sign. Amounts show 2 decimals, and there is no exchange-rate conversion.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Open your copy in the Google Sheets or Excel phone app. Each tab shows what you type and read first; scroll right for more columns and the charts, which are easiest to see on a computer.
